Flashing athletic inks is a delicate process due to the growing problem of dye migration. When screen printing 100% polyester uniforms, turning the temperature down on the flash unit is strongly recommended. Excessive heat from the flash unit can create problems with athletic inks before the uniform even gets to the conveyor dryer. Athletic ink manufactured by One Stroke Inks will typically have a very fast flash time which reduces the risk of dye migration.
